I Come to You God of Order
~ 1 Corinthians 14:40
Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you right now in the truth of where I am. Honestly, I am overwhelmed. My life is wearing me down. I’m tired, exhausted, working very hard and running in all different directions. Some of this is good and some I’m sure is not good for me. I don’t have enough time, and I don’t know any other way to be.
But God I know You have a plan for my life and Your Word says it’s a plan to prosper me and to give me hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11); so I surrender to Your Will for my life. Reveal what You want me to know about the plan and what I am to do and how I can move out of my own way. Teach me and help me to want what You want for my life. I know You created me so there is a greater purpose within me. Now make me ready to receive. Renew my energy. Give me strength were I am weak; breathe fresh wind and air into my being. Give me a restored spirit and the motivation to make adjustments when and where needed. Show me something I’ve not considered. I’m not attached to my own way, my family’s way or the world’s way. I declare and decree as a new creature in Christ that I am committed to putting my life in right order according to Your Word in Matthew 6:33. Lord help me to tune in to You every morning for divine instruction on how to be a better steward of my time. Please move people, places and things off my agenda if they don’t line up with what You have for me. I release the spirit of being overwhelmed and give it to You God. I take responsibility for my actions and decisions. I will show up decently and in order from this day forward. It’s handled. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
